Chibi-Robo stars a tiny gray robot with a two-pronged power plug for a tail. The inquisitive robot is eager to learn, so players must help him navigate his way around real-world environments (such as a kitchen or bedroom) while keeping his body fully charged by guiding him toward various electrical outlets. Though one of the game's primary goals is to have Chibi-Robo develop more skills, there is a danger in the form of two robbers who plan on abducting the robot for their own nefarious purposes. Chibi-Robo, with the player's assistance, must also thwart the progress of his would-be captors by using his newly acquired skills to set up potential traps or hazards.
